The Mavic XA Elite wheelset is simple and fun but packed with technology in an exceptionally strong and light wheel-tyre system that is tubeless-ready.

High-end agile and versatile components with ISM 4D machining make the wheels lighter without compromising on strength. They feature a 25mm internal width rim with a hookless profile and the ITS 4 freewheel system makes for faster acceleration.

This is a simple and reliable build with 24 straight-pull bladed and double-butted spokes on both the front and rear wheels. Tubeless tape comes pre-installed on both wheels: the lightest and simplest way to get the tubeless benefits such as better traction, comfort, and reduced risk of flats.

Quicker accelerations, better handling and more resistance; the right mix to make the most of any ride. The smooth profile also helps reducing aerodynamic drag.


ITS-4 (Instant energy transmission): Using 4 pawls working 2 by 2, Instant Transfer System 4 provides a more dynamic ride, thanks to a very fast engagement. Its versatility makes it compatible with all kinds of frame retention system.

UST TUBELESS READY: The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort while reducing inertia and flats.

X-mix: Dual compound (55/50) with softer side knobs offers grip while maintaining the rolling efficiency
Guard +: The tyre casing is reinforced with a high-density extra layer that protects from flats and gives a more supple feel for better comfort and rolling efficiency.
