Product Description

Built to race in the most challenging conditions. The Specialized Crux Elite X1 is a carbon cyclocross bike that has everything you need to succeed on the very toughest CX courses.

The Crux FACT 11r carbon frame has been redesigned for 2018 and now features Specialized Rider-First Engineered™ technology so you get the same responsive ride characteristics on every frame. This means that each and every rider will experience the same blend of stiffness and compliance no matter how tall or short they are.

Featuring updated geometry, the Crux X1 now has a lower bottom bracket and sharper front end for increased stability in the corners and on off-camber sections. The Crux features generous mud clearance – 8mm all-round clearance with a 33mm tyre – which, combined with the internal cable routing in the frame and fork, means that you will collect less mud even when things get sticky. Of course, the frame is built for easy shouldering when you need to jump off the bike.

The Crux frame is now over 400g lighter than previous models and offers a more comfortable ride thanks to the compliance built in to the frame layup. The seat collar is positioned 20mm lower than before, which offers more seatpost defection, further improving ride quality. Both the frame and the S-Works FACT 11r fork feature thru axles for increased lateral stiffness and steering response.

The SRAM Rival groupset features a 1x11 speed drivetrain for simple and reliable gear shifting with improved chain retention when riding over rough ground. The Rival hydraulic disc brakes give you confident stopping power in all weather conditions.

The tough Roval SLX wheels are shod with Specialized Terra Pro tyres for hardcore cyclocross racing.

The Specialized Crux Elite X1 will give you the performance advantage you need to perform at your best in your next ‘cross race.
