Des Series has been into cycling all his life and has over 35 years experience in the industry. He likes anything with two wheels and has a small collection of classic and modern motorbikes. Cycling has always been in Des’s blood, following his fathers footsteps, who was a keen racing cyclist and ran his own cycle manufacturing company that sold parts and accessories. When Des isn’t at work, he can be found on his Specialized S-Works Roubaix riding the sportives or carving the trails on his Specialized Epic Marathon.

In 2001, Des was having a relaxing ride on his favourite track in the local forest when a tree suddenly jumped out on him. He suffered two black eyes, eleven stitches and a flattened nose – he is still recovering to this day. You will find Des listening to Jazz, funk, northern soul and rap music whilst out on his bike.
